I spent the weekend in Charlotte to attend my best friend’s birthday party, and ate a delicious restaurant I have never tried (or heard of) before. It was called Mac’s and was previously a bike shop of some sort. I had delicious BBQ – not as good as from my hometown of Lexington, NC, but much more delicious than any BBQ on the NC coast. So, that’s new restaurant #1.

I also finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets at lunch today (#6 of my 50). These are such easy reads, but they’re so enjoyable. I’m trying to decide now whether I want to start Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban or if I want to tackle Dragonfly in Amber, the second book in the Outlander series. I might need to stagger my Harry Potters more, or else I’ll blow through the entire series in no time and have to wait impatiently for the 6th movie in July.
