#30: Learn 10 new vocabulary words

Word of the day:

rancor \RANG-ker\, noun:

bitter resentment or ill will; extreme hatred or spite

I must admit I’ve seen this word many times when reading, but I can’t recall if I’ve actually heard people use it in casual conversation. I knew generally that it had a negative connotation, but I never knew the exact definition OR pronunciation of it.
