#28: Learn the 50 states alphabetically

This one seems silly, but it has been one of my favorites.  I actually memorized them in a day 2 weeks ago or so, but I wanted to make sure it was committed to long-term memory.  So, I didn’t recite them for a week and tried again last week.  I left out Maryland one time and Vermont another.  So,  I ignored them again for a few days and tried again on Friday.  Perfect.  Then I tried again this morning with perfect results, so I’ve decided they are embedded in my brain enough to check this one off.

There’s no way to prove this, short of making a recording (which i may end up doing!)  So, you’ll just have to take my word for it.  I’m going to write them now, quickly and without peeking (trust me).

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia (ok ok, I decided to throw in 51 for fun), Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming
