I should have updated this a few days ago…

I finished A Certain Slant of Light. It was a pretty good book. The most interesting part about it: as I started reading, I realized it was following an idea I had outlined for a novel when I was a little younger. It kind of gave me the “I missed the boat” feeling. The book ended up going in a completely different direction than my idea, so by the end the feeling went away. Good read, took me a while to get into though.

Started Moloka’i, by Alan Brennert, a couple of days ago. Again, the first couple of chapters were slow but now it is definitely starting to pick up. I’m about 100 pages in.
